Inspiration for this project is permanent monitoring of people by surveillance cameras, installed at more and more public places. We got used to loosing our privacy, there are practically no rules limiting the presence of these cameras.
A short video, made as a fictive footage from many surveillance cameras, from places where we would not expect it and where they have not been installed – yet, like on top of the mountains, in forests, deserts, on meadows, by the sea etc. The presence of hundreds of cameras on these strange, but still public, places is indicated by the high number of camcorders and zones that are covered in the left bottom corner of the footage. There are no people on the footage.
